Tall case brass dial clock, 1792-1793.

Cherry tall-case clock. The hood has a molded flat pediment with a pagoda top, pierced and carved fretwork and three turned ball-and-spire finials, a molded arch above the door, arched sidelights, free-standing fluted columns at the four corners, and a glazed door with an astragal top. Waist with cove molding at the top, fluted quarter columns at the front corners and a case door with a shaped top. Base with cove molding at the top, applied moldings on the front panel, and ogee molding at the bottom. Engraved dial with roman hour numerals and arabic minute numerals, engraved leafy c-scrolls and vines in the spandrels and lunette arch, and a moon phase dial in the lunette. Inside the chapter ring there is a seconds dial, a calendar aperture, engraved leafy scrolls and vines, and the inscription "Terry E Windsor" surrounded by engraved cartouches. Thirty hour movement.
